Scuffing, smudging to edges of textblock and boards. Discoloration, patches of sticker fuzz on endpapers. Dust jacket is in good condition with some surface abrasion, chipping along periphery and at top of spine (see photos). The eighth was the last printing before Simon and Schuster began publishing this title in a much condensed format. Shirer's The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich wasn't the first history of the Nazi empire nor the most thorough, but it remains the most popular account by far.
