Random House, 1949. 8vo. Hardcover. First edition, first printing. 246 pp. Upper textblock edge topstain black. Very good condition. Clean boards and pages. Dust jacket not as good. Closed tear along front foreedge, open tear at head of spine. Rubbing a few chips along periphery (look at the photos, I guess). Faulkner went on the win the Nobel Prize in literature that same year.
