No markings. Dust jacket is rimpled at very upper edge but otherwise like new. Unfortunately, Scribners slapped a gold "National Book Award Winner" sticker on the cover of all later printings of The Shipping News, this one included. The book earned rave reviews from fans and critics upon its release in 1993, and as you might already know, ended up winning the National Book Award.
