Small stain on front free endpaper from removed price-sticker, smudging along textblock fore-edge. Clean text; no markings. Dust jacket is nearly fine with slightly rubbed forecorners. The Rules of Attraction, Ellis's second book, is a dark satirical take on patrician collegiate life and the basis for a film adaptation of the same name in 2002.
