Small stain along lower textblock edge, upper forecorner of pp. 682 - 693 (penetrating 1mm or so). Otherwise clean interior. Dust jacket is a bit edge-worn, has a 1cm closed tear along upper edge of front joint and some browning coloration to jacket flaps. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize (1979) and the National Book Award (1981). Although abundant in book club edition form, the trade edition of Cheever's most popular work has became harder and harder to find.
