Illustrated by Joseph Schindelman. 1/4 chocolate brown cloth binding over blindstamped cream boards. 162 pp. Condition is almost as poor as the Bucket family. Scuffing along edges of boards. Forecorners bumped. Gilt spine-lettering faded. Front free endpaper clipped irregularly along upper edge (see photos). Smudging to textblock fore-edge. Pages are fairly clean, free of markings. No dust jacket for this one, which I know is a big deal-breaker to a lot of people but think of it this way: a dust jacket is a lot like a candy bar wrapper; you wouldn't keep a candy bar wrapper, would you? I rest my case.
