Knopf, 1959. Hardcover. 8vo. 221 pp. 1/8 cloth bound (blue/slate). First edition, second printing (August 1963). Very good condition. Former owner's name in blue ink on title page. Interior is otherwise immaculate. Sharp boards. Dust jacket is likewise very good. Slight rubbing along joints and foreedge of jacket, rumpling to very upper edge (1mm or so); small smudge mark on flap near lower front fore-corner. The Same Door, a collection of short stories, was John Updike's third book.
