This copy is a hardcover with dust jacket in poor condition. Major signs of wear to edges of jacket and pages of text, as pictured. Wear to dust jacket, boards, and text block includes: chipping, open and closed tears, rubbing, sun-fading, foxing, and areas of discoloration. Binding is somewhat warped and weak at the inner spine. Previous owner gift inscription to front, inner board. Published in 1949 by Geoffrey Bles. Stated Reprint edition. Overall, a rather shabby copy that would make for an excellent reading or display copy.
