Boards are worn along spine sides and forecorners. Rear hinge reinforced. Light wear to textblock fore-edge. No markings to pages. Unprepossessing dust jacket is price-clipped and extensively rubbed, chipped along periphery; open tears present along head of spine, lower rear edge near joint; surface abrasion, creasing appear in several spots as well (see photos).
Bugliosi was lead prosecutor in the explosive murder trial of Manson and several members of his 'family.' This is the definitive chronicle of the Manson mayhem, whether or not you accept the race-war eschatology of his 'Helter Skelter' theory of the crimes. For a somewhat different perspective on these events, Ed Sander's book 'The Family' is also highly recommended.
