Front hinge is somewhat lax, but hanging in there. Dust jacket is very good with a little rumpling along the very outer edge. Lonesome Dove won the 1986 Pulitzer Prize in literature, a fact emblazoned boorishly by the publisher on the jackets of all printings thereafter--but not on this copy, which was issued just beforehand.
