Previous owner’s name written in black ink onto the front, inner board. Previous bookstore price written in pencil onto the upper, right-hand corner of the title page, as well as to the upper, left-hand corner of the rear board. Fragile hinges. Toning with areas of discoloration to the inner boards and pages of text block. Published by New Directions as part of The New Classics Series. Book shows original publication date of 1938 but this edition is obviously from much later. Text is free from highlighting and underlining. 238pp. A good reading copy of this title.
