Boni and Liveright, 1927 (first published by Harper's in 1912). Hardcover. 8vo. Revised edition, second printing. Blue cloth binding. 503 pp. Good condition. An old bookshop sticker (postage stamp-sized) is affixed to each endpaper and adjacent to the respective hinges; the front sticker is joined by the fuzzy remnants of a mostly-removed label on the front free endpaper. Textblock edges are worn and show some smudging. Rubbing and general wear to joints and edges of boards also evident. No dust jacket...but then not too much dust either. And, really, doesn't that show that maybe dust jackets--at least the ones my books are missing--aren't really that important? I think it does.
