Green cloth binding. 427 pp. Unprepossessing ex-library copy with pouch on rear endpaper and stamps on textblock edges, first page, and copyright page. Light wear along edges of boards. Smudging, general wear to textblock edges. 1cm light splotch-marking, scotch tape shadows on outside covers. Front hinge somewhat distended. Dust jacket isn't terrible under library mylar--just some rimpling along the very outer edge and some mid-spine sticker damage. Altogether a thoroughly underwhelming specimen though of it would be a satisfactory reading copy. The Sound and the Fury is number 187 in The Modern Library series.
