Visible wear to edges/spine/corners of boards. Binding is somewhat rolled with minor separation of text block from spine. Scratching, toning, discoloration, and creasing to edges of textblock/inner boards/pages of text. Fragile inner hinges. Fragile pages. Previous owner bookplate pasted to front, inner board. Open tear to middle of first front endpaper. Previous bookstore price written in pencil to upper edge of second front endpaper. Light chipping to lower, right-hand corner of same page. Extensive toning, foxing, and areas of speckled discoloration to pages of text. Glassine paper protecting frontispiece intact though discolored. Pencil markings to upper edge of final rear endpaper.
