This copy is a hardcover book with dust jacket in fair condition. Chipping to perimeter of dust jacket as well as to the upper/lower areas of the jacket’s spine. Both flaps of the dust jacket are detached but included and held together by the protective plastic housing the entire dust jacket. Binding is somewhat rolled with minor separation of text block from spine. Scratching, toning, and areas of discoloration to the edges of text block. Fragile hinges. Toning to inner boards and pages of the text. Fragile pages. The dust jacket is not priced as this is a reprint edition. Publisher’s red top-stain to the upper, horizontal edge of the text-block. Illustrated endpapers. Previous bookstore price written in faint red pencil to the upper, right-hand corner of the title page. As pictured, the previous owner has ‘x-ed’ out other titles on the front, inner flap of the dust jacket. Clean text throughout. Published by Grosset & Dunlap. Complete Authorized Edition. The publication page states this copy was published in 1911 but it appears to be from much later given the appearance of the dust jacket and book itself. 328pp.
