Scuffing along edges of boards; 1mm tear midway up rear exterior joint; faint patches of foxing on (but only on) endpapers. Pp. 102-156 stained along fore-edge to a penetration of 12mm or so, though with only a trace of attendant undulation and not affecting at all the legibility of the text.
