Dust jacket has a couple small chips along periphery but still in very good shape. Raintree County is truly an epic novel, equal parts Ulysses, Lord of the Rings, and Gone with the Wind. It was the only book Ross Lockridge Jr. wrote. A forgettable movie adaptation with Elizabeth Taylor was made in 1957.
