Light wear along edges of boards; former owner's name in ink on upper front free endpaper. No other markings. Dust jacket is very sharp with just a touch of rimpling along upper edge (see photos). Subsequent novels The Crossing (1994) and Cities on the Plain (1998) complete McCarthy's Border Trilogy. All the Pretty Horses was awarded the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Award.
