Brown cloth binding. 247 pp. Unprepossessing ex-library copy with card pocket on front free endpaper, stamps on title page, and scotch tape shadows on boards. Slight undulation to first three preliminary pages (up to copyright page). No markings to text. Dust jacket has several faint patches of surface excoriation and is missing a 12mm chunk near the bottom of the spine (see photos). This critical account of the Earps came as something of a shock to readers accustomed to the legend of the brothers as law-abiding frontier marshals as propounded in Stuart Lake's fulsome biography of Wyatt Earp.
