General wear, scuffing to textblock edges, bottom edge of covers. No markings to text. Dust jacket is slit along upper joints, chipped extensively along periphery but quite bright and still in about good condition. Looking Backward, a contrary entry among the Panglossian utopian scenarios that many authors in the late eighteenth century envisioned and wrote about was one of the best-selling books of the nineteenth century.
