Eroding/fraying to cloth at upper spine (top 2mm or so--see photos). Former owner's name, gift inscription on front free endpaper (which is unfortunately inscrutable though I definitely get a 'VIP' vibe on this one). Incipient slackening (let's say) to front hinge. No dust jacket.
