New York: G. W. Carleton & Co., Publishers, 1880. Hardcover. 8vo. No dust jacket. Green boards with gold lettering and illustration. 832pp. Discoloration and staining to outer boards. Fraying to the upper/lower spine/perimeter of the boards. Cracked inner hinges. Previous owner bookplate to the front pastedown. Previous owner inscription to the front endpaper. Some repairs to the inner hinges have been made by the previous owner using clear tape. Toning to the inner hinge of some of the pages of the text. Chipping to the verticle edge of the text-block. Some pages are torn. Poor condition. Minor separation of the text-block from the spine. Creasing, toning, scratching, smudging, and discoloration to the outer/inner boards, endpapers, pages of the text, and the text-block edge.
