Arthur Gleason - Our Part in the Great War
New York: A.L. Burt, 1917. Reprint (of trade edition issued same year by Frederick Stokes). Hardcover. 12mo. 338 pp. Green cloth binding. Good condition. Gift inscription from Grandma on front free endpaper; light rubbing to covers. Solid binding, clean interior. Dust jacket is in good condition with some edge-wear, small open tear along lower front edge, a couple patches of dampstain smudging (see photos). Our Part in the Great War wasn't nearly big enough, according to Francophile Gleason, who argues that "no deaths, no horrors, no mutilation" should dampen American resolve--not, that is, until "the German menace is removed for all time."
